change domain from shared to exclusive

Is there any way to change the physical hosting on an existing domain? The domain has been on the server for a while under the shared ip. They now want to add a shopping cart and we need to assign them to a static ip. Is there any way to change this short of unistalling and reinstalling?

Solved

We had to assign the ip addresses to the client first (even though we are the only client). Then we could move the domain to one of the ip addresses.

first, you should assign ip address to client, then change it for domain
