change mail server directory structure

Hello,

Is it possible to change the default qmail directory stucture in the following way :

In the folder /var/qmail/mailnames/domain.com having sub-folders with each letter of the alphabet and inside this folders to store the mail accounts starting with the specific letter.

I actually need to implement this on a particular server that has a domain with more than 55,000 email accounts. I tried to migrate the mails from an existing mail server to Plesk but the migration stopped at 32,000 accounts (I had reached the maximum number of subfolders in linux). Instead of changing kernel parameters related to maximum subfolders I am thinking to have the qmail structure changed and place the mail accounts in each coresponding letter subfolder.

You can move the mailnames directory and symlink /var/qmail/mailnames to /home/qmail/mailnames as on my installation.

Thank you for your interest in helping me, however this is not the solution I'm looking for.

There is no problem with the /var/qmail/mailnames folder.
The problem is that you can't have more than 32,000 email accounts per domain, because there is a restriction in kernel for the number of sub-folders that you can create inside a master directory. And Qmail does a sub-folder for each email account on a domain.

Having a domain with 55,000 email accounts, I ended up in the situation in which I am unable to migrate my old mail server to Plesk because of this limitation. And between raising the kernel limit and changing the qmail directory struncture, I choose changing the Qmail directory structure.
The problem is that I'm not albe to do this alone.
