  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Change permissions on a directory using plesk's API

How do I change permissions on a directory permissions for IUS user (IIS User) by using (RPC) plesk's API?

Hello Igor,

I'm using API documentation quite often, and there I couldnt find anything helpfull.

The point is that I must give permissions to 5 directories in 300 subscriptions (all of them exactly copy of a Virtual Host Template) and I wanted to do this in other way than by hand one by one by plesk's panell.

Any sugestions? May be other options?

Thanks on advance

What about some script which you can run directly on your server?

That would be perfect but I've tryed using php's chmod and it wasn't working.

I can't find the way to make windows to accept given privileges...

Could you give any idea of other working script for windows?

Thank you
