Question Change the default account email from [email protected] or update msmtprc permanently

João Raposo

New Pleskian
How can I change the default account email from [email protected] to another email?

I am using the MSMTP, configured to use an SMTP of zoho.

I did some testing, trying to send mass email (just one email for testing) and I received the following error in mail.err:
That it's a normal error since my smtp don't allows me to send email from [email protected]

I found out that I could change the from email in the file /etc/msmtprc, but when I opened the file I verified that msmtprc it's overwrited after a plesk update as you can see bellow. Bellow I send the content of my msmtprc. I know how to change it to have a proper from field, but I am trying to find a more permanent solution.

Does anyone know to change the psaadm default email or to configure permanently (or with a local file) the MSMTP service?

Thank you!
