  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Resolved "Changing domain name" attempt in "domain list" results in "JSON error"

kinesis

New Pleskian
Server operating system version
Ubuntu 22.04.4 LTS
Plesk version and microupdate number
Version 18.0.62 Update #2, last updated on July 25, 2024 06:34 AM
plesk "change domain name":
Code:
Unexpected non-whitespace character after JSON at position 624 (line 1 column 625)

Occurs in Domains -> select from list -> "Change domain name"

Then I have to clean the mysql database to remove the new desired domain name from the server's broken attempt.

Any clues to help? Thank you,
kinesis

I noticed some errors in Tools & Settings > Log Browser > Plesk,
they are for "panel" and "util_exec".

I used the other method to rename domain, from inside the domain name's panel area.

No help needed after all! Thanks.
