  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.
  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
    If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.

Client/User cannot login to Plesk 8.4 Control Panel

We have a client who is unable to login to Plesk 8.4 Control Panel on our server with their username and password.

They get a "invalid username or password. Please try again" message.

They tried the "forgotten your password" option and had their details emailed to them.

Those failed to work as well.

We have then manually gone into Plesk via our Admin login, which works fine, reset their password and checked all permissions, which seem to be fine for both Client & Domain settings, but they are still unable to login.

We have tried this ourselves with no luck either.

Any ideas or tips on how we can overcome this issue?

the only workaround I found is to disable offline management for vps where this plesk is installed.

Parallels, please, is there any way to use offline management + plesk ?
 
The problem does not exist on Virtuozzo 4, only Virtuozzo 3 is affected. So, I think only upgrade will help to resolve such issues.
