CNAME not working

I purchased a store from BigCommerce.com
In order to point my subdomain shop.survivaldealer.com to my new store, I created a CNAME and used the canonical name as supplied by BigCommerce. After over a week, when I ping shop.survivaldealer.com there is no record found. Admittedly, I did it wrong at first and created a separate zone for shop.survivaldealer.com and it was pointing to the "A" record and not the canonical name. So, it has been a week since I deleted the faulty zone, but the CNAME in the survivaldealer.com zone still does not work. I host with 1 and 1 and they will not help.

Any help will be appreciated.
