  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Issue Compatibility mod, wrong root directory

Plesk version and microupdate number
Version 18.0.43
Hello,

I am having what I believe is an issue to disable the Compatibility Mode on an older migrated customer account (plesk to plesk) or I'm missing a step I should take during the migration process but not sure which. I have recently started migrating our clients over to a new server using Obsidian Version 18.0.43. Overall the migration of clients has been going very smooth, actually much better then I expected but I am running into an issue on clients that where on Compatibility Mode prior to their account migration.

Once a migration is finished, I see the Compatibility Mode settings in the Hosting Settings page in which I turn off but it seems as if its not working properly still. The root directory in the Hosting Settings shows as httpdocs but if I try to load the index.html it loads the one in the httpsdocs instead of the httpdocs. I was trying to find a way to change that settings so the httpdocs directory will be the root but nothing solid came up for me so far in my searches and was hoping someone could help.

I did find a few posts with the following instructions but I can't seem to find that setting anywhere. Once I'm in Websites & Domains there is no option for "Show Advanced Operations"
1. Log into your Plesk Panel.
2. Click “Websites & Domains.”
3. Click “Show Advanced Operations.”
4. Click “Website Scripting and Security”
5. Uncheck the box that says something along the lines of “Compatibility mode for legacy option to separate SSL content.”
6. Click “OK.”

Any recommendations?

thx in advance for the help.
