  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Question Connect to external ssh server via shell script

New Pleskian
Server operating system version
Ubuntu 22.04.2
Plesk version and microupdate number
Obsidian 18.0.52
Hi,

I have the following use case:

I have a Plesk Server with Ubuntu 22.04 and a SFTP Server (Hetzner Storage Box), where I save my backups. Now I would like to delete all backups older than x days on the SFTP Server via shell script. This shell script I would like to execute via cronjob. But nothing I tried worked so far. Plesk often gave me the error "Name or Service not found" (regarding to my host - but it exists and is available).

The Storage Box only allows a few commands: Zugriff mit SSH/rsync/BorgBackup - Hetzner Docs

Does someone have an idea, what I am doing wrong and how to solve this?

Thank you so much!

Are you using the IP or the Hostname to connect? Try with the IP if you did not
It would also help if you provide the commands you're using to provide more information.
