cPanel to Plesk 10.4.4 Assistance Required

I am in a process of transferring an account from cPanel to Plesk 10.4.4 , I have gone through the documents of migration but still am not able to get a starting point of what to do i have root access on the server of cPanel what would be the steps to perform the migration on Plesk when i perform migration i get this error

Error Connection to host is not available or migration agent is not running

What migration agent i would have to install on host server to perform the migration any assistance in this regard would be highly appreciated.

If I correctly understood you have Plesk 10.4.4 for Windows?
In that case read carefully http://download1.parallels.com/Plesk/PP10/10.4/Doc/en-US/online/plesk-migration-guide/63279.htm
You can migrate cPanel only to Plesk for Linux but not for Windows.
