• Debian 11 is approaching its end-of-life (vendor EOL date - August 31, 2026). Plesk Obsidian 18.0.80 will be the last release to support it.
If you are running Plesk Obsidian on Debian 11, we recommend you upgrade those servers to Debian 12 using our dist-upgrade tool.
  • We plan to deprecate and remove the support for XML RPC protocol versions earlier than 1.6.9.1 in Plesk Obsidian 18.0.82. We strongly recommend that you update all existing integrations using earlier versions of the XML RPC protocol to comply with the version 1.6.9.1 specification.

Hi All,

I'm using plesk 9.5.2 to host several websites. I've just notice that there is a restore feature which can restore license key.

What I want is building another plesk server which has the same license key and same database, is that possible and do I need to pay more for that?

What I will do are:
Create backup file on Plesk 9.5.2
Build appropriate plesk server on different location
Restore that backup file on that plesk server (including license)

You can use license key only on the one server. If you use the same license key on more than one server, this license will be cancelled by Parallels Key Administrator.

What if my plesk server is dead for some reason. Can i use that license key on another server. In this case, there is only one server connects to internet.

Yes, you can use license key on other Plesk server in this case.
