  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Hi Everyone

I'm having an issue on a Wordpress website. The cron job fails when the plugins Yoast and WP-rocket are activated together.
Unfortunately the error output is not clear. I get the HTML code output, but cannot see any details.
Does anyone know where I have to look to see all of it?

Thanks for the help.

It seems that you have activated the wp-cron.php replacement option in WP Toolkit

In that case you'll find a "Scheduled Tasks" entry that you can edit. You could direct the output for that scheduled task to email, e.g.:

This will send you the full output by mail.

Thanks for the reply. Unfortunately I'm not able to send emails at all. No notifications, no cron job logs. I am using the external SMTP and it should be connected to Office365...

I've found a lot of articles, but non of them can get me in te right direction. I keep going in circles for hours now, why this isn't working...

Please open a support ticket so that an engineer can assist you. I suggest to first open a ticket on the email issue. If you cannot send mails, that will be best to solve first.

But You run a cron with curl ?
When run cron manually you get same error ?

What about php error_log when you run cron and get error.

Anyway in my case i found the problem with running the wp-cron.php through ssh:

/opt/plesk/php/8.3/bin/php /var/www/vhosts/<your-website.tld>/httpdocs/wp-cron.php

It throws the mentioned HTML and in the end:

PHP Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 134217728 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 10485760 bytes) in /var/www/vhosts/.........

so had to edit in Plesk (Tools & Settings) the PHP.ini of the used php version. After that my problem solved.
