Issue Customer account suspension was not sync

Thomas Oryon

Regular Pleskian
Hello Support,

I have created an customer account as per the screenshot and suspended the domain name. When I verify the status in the IIS, it still shows active. May I know the reason for this?

Awaiting your reply.

@Thomas Oryon , could you please confirm if you actually able to access the website in question? I believe that although it is shown as "Started" in the application pool the domain should serve a suspended page given the subscription is suspended.

Hello,

I'm unable to access the website and it shows 503 error when I browse. Also, this error happens only on plesk windows server not on the plesk installed in linux server. In plesk installed linux server, it shows the login page instead of error.

Awaiting your reply.

As far as I am aware, when you suspend a subscription, the underlying IIS application pool isn't automatically shut down. The application pool stays intact, but Plesk takes the associated websites offline. Instead of stopping the process. It simply configures the web server to redirect all incoming traffic for those sites to a "503 Service Temporarily Unavailable" page.
