• The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Customers cannot login / access denied

After an upgrade from 9.5.3 to 10.0.0.1, I'm having only one issue: None of the customer accounts can log into Plesk. When they try, they get a "Error: Access denied. Your account was suspended." message.

I can confirm that their accounts and subscriptions are "active."

I remember that there were customer-specific settings in Plesk 9, one that allowed/disabled access to Plesk admin. I don't see such a setting in Plesk 10. Am I missing something obvious?

Thanks!
Kris

I'm assuming that its a database variable stored in the "psa" database, but I can't seem to locate it. Can anyone point me to the correct table?

I've got exactly the same problem. Any help would be appreciated.

We had this same problem and found out it was a Control Panel Users permission problem. To remedy, log in to the control panel for the account and click on the users tab. If the specified user (Contact name) has the "Inactive" icon next to it, click on the Contact name and then make sure the "User is active" checkbox is checked. That should do it.

We are having the same issue. When will a fix be released for this?

has been this bug solved yet? or at least any workaround?

Did you try login as admin and activate these Inactive accounts?

All accounts shows status active! I suspend some of them. And then reactivated. But customers are still suspended. What can we do?

We found the problem. smb_users table in psa database has IsLocked parameter. This parameter prevents users to log in.

We had to manually change IsLocked from 1 to 0. And now works.

change manually in smb_users

Thanx cpes,
changing the value manually in the table smb_users solved the problem for me
