  • Inviting everyone to the UX test of a new security feature in the WP Toolkit
For WordPress site owners, threats posed by hackers are ever-present. Because of this, we are developing a new security feature for the WP Toolkit. If the topic of WordPress website security is relevant to you, we would be grateful if you could share your experience and help us test the usability of this feature. We invite you to join us for a 1-hour online session via Google Meet. Select a convenient meeting time with our friendly UX staff here.

(De-)Activate mail service on specified domain ONLY

iantresman

Basic Pleskian
1. I need to deactivate the email service for ONE domain only, without having to move their domain to a separate subscription. (This is not the same as unchecking a mailbox, as the server continues to handle the mail). My customer wants Google to handle their email.

I believe this is technically possible, as my tech support are able to issue a command line instruction to do this, but it would be more flexible if I could do tick a check box in the "Hosting Settings", or more obviously under the Mail tab.

2. The Mail settings option "Activate mail service on domain" should read "Activate mail service on subscription", as it effects all domains in a subscription.

According to my tech support, this is the equivalent Plesk command-line command:

/usr/local/psa/bin/domain -u mydomain.co.uk -mail_service false

Unfortunately I can't issue such commands.
