• Debian 11 is approaching its end-of-life (vendor EOL date - August 31, 2026). Plesk Obsidian 18.0.80 will be the last release to support it.
If you are running Plesk Obsidian on Debian 11, we recommend you upgrade those servers to Debian 12 using our dist-upgrade tool.
  • We plan to deprecate and remove the support for XML RPC protocol versions earlier than 1.6.9.1 in Plesk Obsidian 18.0.82. We strongly recommend that you update all existing integrations using earlier versions of the XML RPC protocol to comply with the version 1.6.9.1 specification.

Default FTP folder

Anybody has any idea how can I set that the default folder the FTP will connect for a domain will be the httpdocs folder, not the parent folder that contains the anon_ftp, cgi-bin, private etc... My customer doesn't use that and would be less confused if he goes to the web folder right away...

Is it possible using Microsoft FTP and Plesk 7.5.6?

Jerry

You can do it , using linkd utility included in Windows 2003 resource kit. However each time you or Plesk (implicitly) reconfigures ftp site, those settings will be overwritten

Oh, sorry to hear that. So it is better to leave it as it is? :-(

I guess using some other ftp program would make this possible, but as I found out Plesk only recognises the expensive one (the Serv-U)?
