• Our team is looking to connect with folks who use email services provided by Plesk, or a premium service. • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Basic Pleskian
Hey there,

I have a very strange problem:

For one site the www prefix is not working. When users type http://domain.com it seems to work. When they type http://www.domain.com it doesn't seem to work.

All the other domains do not have this problem. I restored the default dns template, restarted dns, plesk, httpd, etc.

I fixed it by adding a sub domain called www and made a copy of the httpdocs directory. This is not a proper solution.

Do any of you have any information on this?

I have a similar problem.

My domain.tld go to /usr/local/www/vhosts/default/htdocs and my www.domain.tld go to /usr/local/www/vhosts/domain.tld/httpdocs

I try to use Plesk 8.1 on FreeBSD 6.1... this is the worst release of PLesk I've ever seen. SWsoft need some beta-tester?

Same problem here.
When I migrate clients from Plesk81@debian to Plesk81@ubuntu the www prefix doesn´t work anymore. In the domain administrator panel the www checkbox is checked.
The problem is the "ServerAlias" in the httpd.include that is missing after migrating.

Even when I uncheck it, save the settings and afterwards check it again and restart apache it doesn't return in the httpd.include.
