  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.
  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.

Default Page is not what I expected

Our Plesk 10.4 server is named http://hosting7.fastq.com. By all accounts and in all our other hosting servers it should show the "default" plesk page, as loaded in /var/www/vhosts/default/htdocs (centOS). We would put a 404 redirect to our fastq.com web site in that directory (see http://hosting1.fastq.com. Seems somehow, the first domain we transferred to the server is what comes up, using either http or https.

This knowledge base article http://kb.parallels.com/en/119 is not what I am describing. However it does show the correct paths/redirects for the domain.

Can't seem to find the answer on our own, no similiar posts in the forums and nothing helpful in the knowledgebase, so any help would be greatly appreciated.

Why not create a hosting account for hosting7.fastq.com and then you'll have a bit more control? Indeed, if that's the hostname then things like root email and whatnot can be better controlled by doing so.
