• Debian 11 is approaching its end-of-life (vendor EOL date - August 31, 2026). Plesk Obsidian 18.0.80 will be the last release to support it.
If you are running Plesk Obsidian on Debian 11, we recommend you upgrade those servers to Debian 12 using our dist-upgrade tool.
  • We plan to deprecate and remove the support for XML RPC protocol versions earlier than 1.6.9.1 in Plesk Obsidian 18.0.82. We strongly recommend that you update all existing integrations using earlier versions of the XML RPC protocol to comply with the version 1.6.9.1 specification.

Delay in initial loading Plesk 11

New Pleskian
After logging in to Plesk 11 it takes 60 seconds to show the home page (blank page until then). Then after clicking "Tools & Settings" it takes a further 50 seconds to finish loading the page. It takes that time for the icons to show. Subsequent loading of "Tools & Settings" is instant.

Is there any reason for this and can it be speeded up?

Any errors in /var/log/sw-cp-server/error_log or /usr/local/psa/admin/logs/panel.log ?

Also make sure you have not run out of memory (RAM) or CPU. You can check by:

free -m

Thank you both for the assistance.

No obvious errors in either of the log files. However free -m produced....

....and it seems to have sorted it. "Tools & Settings" can sometimes still take up to a minute for the page to completely load with icons visible.
