Discussion of plesk ui usability

The only good thing I can think of, is the password encryption and security enhancements in general.
Why did not just do the security enhancements ?? WHY ????

Funny thing about that is the keys used for the encryption are stored somewhere in Plesk, because there's a CLI command that will output the admin password in plain text if you need it.

/usr/local/psa/bin/admin --show-password

I agree with everything you said about the hosting aspects; I like how they tell the hosts what the hosts want.
 
Since this thread was originally about how great the UI is, here's a new one for the list:

If a reseller creates a backup task at the reseller level, there is no way for the 'admin' account to see it, modify it, delete it.

And you wonder why hosts don't like Plesk 10+... makes it real easy for your support staff to help customers with things when they can't even see them.
