• Debian 11 is approaching its end-of-life (vendor EOL date - August 31, 2026). Plesk Obsidian 18.0.80 will be the last release to support it.
If you are running Plesk Obsidian on Debian 11, we recommend you upgrade those servers to Debian 12 using our dist-upgrade tool.
  • We plan to deprecate and remove the support for XML RPC protocol versions earlier than 1.6.9.1 in Plesk Obsidian 18.0.82. We strongly recommend that you update all existing integrations using earlier versions of the XML RPC protocol to comply with the version 1.6.9.1 specification.

Hello,

I have a generally question, what is the correct way to upgrade the dist and update to the correct version of plesk.

1. Make plesk backup
2. Uninstall plesk
3. Dist upgrade
4. Install plesk
5. Recover plesk

Is that way correct?

1. Make plesk backup
2. Reinstall OS
3. Install Plesk
4. Upgrade OS
5. Recover Plesk backup.

Or:

1. Install OS on new node.
2. Install Plesk on new node.
3. Migrate domain/clients from old node to new.
4. Format disk on old node.

The mentioned first way didn't work successfully on my server.
Had I to remove the current installed plesk version?

There is no official method for Plesk uninstallation. The best way is formatting disk then OS and Plesk installation.

Oh d...
Then I will try the best to get my system working fine again.
All other question I will post in the other thread of me.
