• Debian 11 is approaching its end-of-life (vendor EOL date - August 31, 2026). Plesk Obsidian 18.0.80 will be the last release to support it.
If you are running Plesk Obsidian on Debian 11, we recommend you upgrade those servers to Debian 12 using our dist-upgrade tool.
  • We plan to deprecate and remove the support for XML RPC protocol versions earlier than 1.6.9.1 in Plesk Obsidian 18.0.82. We strongly recommend that you update all existing integrations using earlier versions of the XML RPC protocol to comply with the version 1.6.9.1 specification.

Resolved DKIM Configuration

Regular Pleskian
Hello,

i updated to Onyx today, and tried to activate DKIM for outgoing Mail. I use Postfix on my Centos 6 Virtual Server.
After checking for the DNS Template, i found out that i haven't installed Bind DNS yet. I use Cloudflare, and my Domains point to the Cloudflare DNS. Is there a way, to activate DKIM without having Bind DNS installed on my server?

Thx
Sally

Hello UFHH01,

thanks for the information. When i activate Bind DNS, do i have to change something in the configuration, to keep my website up and running? I know that i have to add the DKIM Record then to Cloudflare, but do i have to configure my DNS Template when starting BIND Dns?

Thx
Sally

Hi Sally1,

nope... not at all.

It's even better: You are always able to check at your domain - specific "DNS - Settings", if you didn't forget to setup this or that at your external DNS - service, because as far that I remember, I never experienced wrong or missing entries from Plesk. ;)

Which DNS - servers are used for your domain is based on your very own settings at the Control Panel of your domain - registar, but you miss some Plesk functionalities on your server, when you missed to install some basic Plesk components. :)
