Question DNS Change when using temporary URL

Hi I’m new to Plesk.
I have developed a Wordpress site using a temporary URL on a VPS running Obsidian.
I have access to the domain DNS panel and can change the A record to point to the VPS.
I’m not sure what I need the do from there to get the temporary URL replaced with the live URL.
Is it as simple as changing the php my admin MySql options or do I need to do anything else? Thanks
