• Debian 11 is approaching its end-of-life (vendor EOL date - August 31, 2026). Plesk Obsidian 18.0.80 will be the last release to support it.
If you are running Plesk Obsidian on Debian 11, we recommend you upgrade those servers to Debian 12 using our dist-upgrade tool.
  • We plan to deprecate and remove the support for XML RPC protocol versions earlier than 1.6.9.1 in Plesk Obsidian 18.0.82. We strongly recommend that you update all existing integrations using earlier versions of the XML RPC protocol to comply with the version 1.6.9.1 specification.

DNS Problems with Plesk

Hello Everyone,

I have a slight problem with my VPS. I created the Domain and everything seems fine

Then I created an A record to redirect to the server in my house and a MX record for the sub domain so that I could exchange mail on the sub domain.

The problem is that intermittently the sub domain will not re-direct and the MX records will not register at all.

When the A record doesn’t work properly I just get directed back to my Domain Default page.

It isn't really clear what you are doing. Is it a domain or a subdomains you have created in Plesk?

Why not post the actual DNS (but use fake IPs and domain names) so that we can get a better grip with what you are doing, as this might help people understand what's going on?

Faris.
