  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
    If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Yeah, sorry I did not mention that :) 4PSA works great for me and my customers. Although I see some features in 7.5.4. that are going to be dubble now with 4PSA. I wonder what they are going to do about that :(
 
my guess is that they will have to update their packages to sport even more functions, otherwise no one will see a need to buy them :)
 
I hope so :) that's what I mean, the Server Assistant is now included in 7.5.4 as Server Monitor :(

Plesk also already contains AntiSpam and AntiVirus. Yet, I still like CleanServer and SpamGuardian better. Don't ask me why, but it just feels better :)
 
The WatchDog can not compete with Server Assistant, as Server Assistant does much more. WatchDog checks if the service is running, Server Assistant checks if the service is working, it monitors other server parameters and so on. In the release 2.0 which is due in September there will be new unique features like Service Statefull checking, Early Hacking Detection, Bandwidth Usage alerts and so on.
 
Interrested in all kinds of mods, mostely in ARTs RPMs, but SuSE is not the distribution which is supported by many people... ART has RPMs for RH, could not find any for SuSE :(
