• The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Domains suspend when backups take place

coolemail

Basic Pleskian
We have a lot of domains which became unusable during and after backups.

[plesk2.hostname ~]# /usr/local/psa/bin/domain -i domain1.com

General
=============================
Domain name: domain1.com
Provider's contact name: AN Other
Domain status: Domain is temporarily suspended for backing up or restoring.

The setting to do this seems to be standard in Plesk 10.

Despite disabling this setting on domains, it contimues to happen.

1. Has anyone else experienced this or worked out a fix to stop it?

2. Does anyone know a shell command we can run that lists the status of all the domains on the server because it is not possible to go through them one at a time and the list of domains does not have a view showing the status of them all as in Plesk 9.

Many thanks in advance for any help.

Did you perform PHP upgrade or something else with admin's or hosting PHP?

PHP had not been upgraded since the move from plesk 9 to 10.
It has been upgraded recently after checking that this would be compatible with plesk 10 features but the issues with backups were present prior to this.
