hello
when i forward the emails to an external email address, the mails get saved in the mailbox. i dont want this.....

it is possible to forward the mails and delete the mail on the mailbox?

ps: i need a mailbox. without the mailbox i cant aktivate spamassassin....
thanks!

Even if you enable spamassassin, forwarded emails are not scanned, only the emails that actually reach the mailbox are scanned. So you must disable mailbox.

Same question as Zeki. We have several domains pointing to the "main"-domain. Since autoresponder and other things are not working, if I use qmails control-file for forwarding mails to another domain, i created the same mailboxes under each domain and use a forwarder to put them to the main-domains mailbox. When doing this, autoresponder works fine but mails are not deleted when forwarding them. On other servers/systems, it is usual, that forwarding means not copying, put plesk does so. Any hints to disable this buggy feature???

Hello,
I tried that and when i disabled the mailbox, the message sent to the mailbox bounced with a mailbox full message.

Recipient's mailbox is full, message returned to sender

Any ideas? It greys out the options and seems to make the mailbox size 0 bytes.

Thanks,
Wally

Emails stay in inbos -- with mailbox disabled!

I have had this problem for a while, but hadn't noticed it:

All my redirects are keeping original email in the accounts /new directory. EVEN WITH THE MAILBOX optin turned off.

Has anybody seen this before?
