  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Can you downgrade from plesk 9 back to 8 with out loosing any site data? if so how do you do this?

Actually an urgently required function

Probably not a good idea [to downgrade Plesk].

I think it would be a very good idea for Plesk to provide that capability, as we have learned during the Plesk 9 upgrade. Would have saved me a lot of problems and time.

I'm not disagreeing with that and we all should know that Parallels has always managed to screw up the updates. You never, ever want to upgrade right-away. It takes them at least 2-3 revisions before they get it down right.

I'm learning
