New Pleskian
I am using Plesk to manage my Virtual Private Server. I have installed Drupal on several of my websites and ran into a problem. I have used WordPress several times with no issue, but when I install Drupal, Plesk puts it into a subdirectory of /Drupal/ This prevents it from running in the root directory of the site.
In WordPress you simply copy the home page into the root and change a setting in the configuration and everything functions properly.
But I can't find similar instructions for Drupal. Everything tells me to install the app into the root directory. But when I move the installation into the root, Plesk no longer sees the installation and cannot update it or manage it.
So, does anyone know a way to make Drupal work from root without moving the installation? Or, set Plesk to install Drupal into my site root directory from scratch?
FYI, I am totally new to Drupal and not an advanced user. Thanks
