What about
/var/drweb/log/drwebd.log and
/var/drweb/log/updater.log
?

Try to remove temporary files

/etc/logrotate.d/drweb-update

and

/etc/logrotate.d/drwebd

and check initial errors after that.

OK i move this Files away now i have to wait until tomorrow morning then i will write here again to report my findings.

This helped me:

Login with your account with SSH or with su as root.

Use your favourite editor (i use nano) and go to
nano /etc/drweb/drweb32.ini

look for
CronSummary = yes
and change it to
CronSummary = no

Also you can edit the

nano /etc/drweb/drweb_handler.conf

where you can look for the Notification section and change anything that you dont want to be notified about by simply putting no instead of yes

After any changes you need to restart the drWeb Service.

you can do that by:
/etc/init.d/drwebd restart

After searching the web and finding common issues with Dr. Web I have concluded that the doctor is a quack! Issues date back to 2009. I currently have this problem that was also in the past, but the settings are already set as recommended. I keep getting this email:
/etc/cron.daily/drweb-update:

ERROR: Dr.Web Updater: can not send HUP signal to Dr.Web daemon (pid=21145, error=No such process) !
See Dr.Web Updater log file for details.

The previous fix was to edit the drweb32.ini file to CronSummary = No
BUT this system is already there:
#CronSummary = yes
CronSummary = no

Now since this is a Plesk 12 server of less than 3 weeks old, I have to ask the question, why am I paying
for this broken software that never gets fixed?

Hi
I have the same problem.

Daily E-Mail
/etc/cron.daily/logrotate:
error: stat of /var/drweb/log/drwebd.log failed: Keine Berechtigung
error: stat of /var/drweb/log/updater.log failed: Keine Berechtigung
Reopen NGINX log files: .
run-parts: /etc/cron.daily/logrotate exited with return code 1

Folder Permission
The folder (/var/drweb/log) is also empty
Code:
# stat /var/drweb/log/
  Datei: „/var/drweb/log/“
Größe: 4096 Blöcke: 8 EA Block: 4096 Verzeichnis
Gerät: 902h/2306d Inode: 76288628 Verknüpfungen: 2
Zugriff: (0644/drw-r--r--) Uid: ( 107/ drweb) Gid: ( 1004/ drweb)

Software
Debian 7.8
Plesk 12 #MU38

What now?

I guess that's the root cause - system returns "permission denied" instead of "no such file or directory" for non existent files /var/drweb/log/drwebd.log & /var/drweb/log/updater.log
Maybe some security system like apparmor?...

What does "stat" command shows for the log files in console under root user?
stat /var/drweb/log/drwebd.log

Are you concerned about possible consequences of this error or just about unnecessary emails?

hello,
Because there are no files in the folder "/var/drweb/log /",
i deleted drweb-update/drwebd.

it is no longer output error message.

Code:
/etc/cron.daily/logrotate:
Reopen NGINX log files: .

thank you

Hi,
I keep receiving this email daily
I didn't even buy the licence for the antivirus
I am concerned about this error and that process that seems to keeping trying to update Dr Web???
Any help would be appreciated

Anacron job 'cron.daily' on vpsXXXX.ovh.net

/etc/cron.daily/drweb-update:

ERROR: Dr.Web Updater: can not send HUP signal to Dr.Web daemon (pid=2579, error=No such process) !
See Dr.Web Updater log file for details.
