email creation for any domain fails

server info:
windows web server 2008
plesk 10.4

I am having strange problems after a fresh install to create a email for my domain.
all I get is this error msg:

Fehler: Unable update mailbox: mailmng failed: Loaded Postoffice Configuration Provider (MEAIPO.DLL) MEAOAU.Login.EditLogin failed for name=test and domain XXX.server.net [XXX.server.net]

I have read this thread:

which is the only search I found similar to my problem via google, but I use MailEnable not smartermail and the resolution fix doesn't work for me at all...

I can add a new mailbox in the mailenable administrator applet, but I cannot login, or send email with the created mailbox.

any suggestions anyone maybe?

I tried to update mailenable but the error wasn't fixed, I couldn't add any email account.

because I was tired of waiting for a reply, I just reinstalled the whole server new.
I didnt touched anything this time, just directly opend plesk and login with the admin access and voila the exact same error!

no one here has a clue what strange error this can be?

ok, now this is REALLY annoying...

when I try to create a email account with a really long password which has not just abc or numbers included, I cannot create the email.
If I use a standard password like 8 digits long it works...

I would like to use strong passwords, so what now?

tried now to contact support to get a response on this error and I cannot send the ticket without giving out my server login details... pfff

I wont give out my server login details on a NON-Secure https connection!
