• Debian 11 is approaching its end-of-life (vendor EOL date - August 31, 2026). Plesk Obsidian 18.0.80 will be the last release to support it.
If you are running Plesk Obsidian on Debian 11, we recommend you upgrade those servers to Debian 12 using our dist-upgrade tool.
  • We plan to deprecate and remove the support for XML RPC protocol versions earlier than 1.6.9.1 in Plesk Obsidian 18.0.82. We strongly recommend that you update all existing integrations using earlier versions of the XML RPC protocol to comply with the version 1.6.9.1 specification.

Encrypted passwords in new customer notification

KamilR

Basic Pleskian
After upgrading from Plesk 10 to 11, I've noticed customer creation notification emails have <encrypted> text where the password used to be. Is there a way to bring back plain text passwords there? I was relying on those emails to send access credentials for new customers and I don't know if I should create my own system for that purpose or only change some setting.

I would also like to know is there a way to send notifications with plain text passwords? Is there any other way to automaticaly send access credentials to new customers?

Same problem here, how to resolve this?

Notice:

On an older Server (upgraded from 10.x) the email contains the clear password! -> MU #13

On a new Server, initially based on Plesk 11, the password is <encrypted> -> MU #13
