• Debian 11 is approaching its end-of-life (vendor EOL date - August 31, 2026). Plesk Obsidian 18.0.80 will be the last release to support it.
    If you are running Plesk Obsidian on Debian 11, we recommend you upgrade those servers to Debian 12 using our dist-upgrade tool.
  • We plan to deprecate and remove the support for XML RPC protocol versions earlier than 1.6.9.1 in Plesk Obsidian 18.0.82. We strongly recommend that you update all existing integrations using earlier versions of the XML RPC protocol to comply with the version 1.6.9.1 specification.

Error 8007005 trying to execute ftpmng

jorfermo

Regular Pleskian
I'm trying to execute ftpmng to reconfigure ftp for domains and all i get is:

Plesk\admin\bin>ftpmng.exe --reconfigure-all
Acces Denied. (COM Error 80070005) at setCertificate(158.42.250.148)
at (FtpServerManager::setCertificate line 137)
at reconfFtp(158.42.250.148)(FtpServerManager::reconfigureFtpAll line 456)

I've run filemon with a filter for ftpmngr and i've attached the output.

I haven't seen any access denied on the list.

Can you have a look?

Thank you very much

It looks like the utility can not import certificate from Root Store located in local computer store. Most probably your server is included into some domain and domain policy can cause such problem. In this case you need to review the policy

No... nothing to do with policies. Nothing changed in domain.

I solved the problem removing a certificate that was installed on plesk. Then it worked but have no idea why it didnt before.

Yes we have Gene6 ftp.

We contacted support more than 2 weeks ago and they didnt gave us a solution.

I solved it removing the certificate but.... just by chance trying things.

Developers are working, and we don't forget your request

Ok, then you have a clue.

Removing certificate made the error dissapear.

I dont know in what way it's connected.

Anyway, after such a long time without solution to that and some other problems related in the same ticket we had to made a backup and reinstall the server.

We were force to do that because all those problems were affecting severely to our clients. Users deactivated, domains stopped, problem with SSL access to FTP, etc.

We've used swsoft support several times with excelent response in time and solution but honestly this time the support has been awful and desperately slow.

Best Regards.

Hello jorfermo,

Thank you for the patience. We are making efforts to improve supporting of the forum.

Hi again.

Just tell you the lack of support was on straight contact to swsoft, not in this forum.

Thanks for your interest.

I have same problem with Windows FT. Is there any solution for that?
