Hello everybody !

I put a very bad command :

chown myuser /*

and now, almost nothing works in plesk (impossible to create domain, impossible to change ftp, mail...).

Can someone write which file to wich owner / group ?

I try to find help on this forum, but find nothing to help me. I see some post with the same problem, but without answer.

Can you give me owner / group for each files of directory :

/bin/
/dev/
/etc/
/home/
/lib/
/media/
/mnt/
/opt/
/proc/
/root/
/sbin/
/selinux/
/srv/
/sys/
/tmp/
/usr/
/var/

Or better, there is a way to restore all like before my bad command...

I know there is a lot of files, but I don't know where to find help.
I have a private server.

Thanks a lot for your help.

Hi,

I have the same problem. Did you find a solution? I managed to restore part of the service changing the permissions, but I'm still having problems with emails and webmail..

Thanks,
Celia
