  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Error occurred while applying global PHP setting

Hello Parallels Plesk Forum,

I'm trying to install the PHP-module MongoDB for PHP-FPM 7.0.3.

I installed the extension using:
/opt/plesk/php/7.0/bin/pecl install mongodb

And resulted into:
Build process completed successfully
Installing '/opt/plesk/php/7.0/lib64/php/modules/mongodb.so'

Now when I try to enable the extension:
933df56539.png

I get:
8c84b45fb8.png

"Error occurred while applying global PHP setting to domains."

Where can i find these error logs? Or how to do this by commandline?

Kind regards,
Joost

It worked after shutting down:
php-fpm: master process (/opt/plesk/php/7.0/etc/php-fpm.conf)

And applying again.

Fixed!

Hi forum -
Having an issue installing a custom php extension here. Followed this thread and executed /opt/plesk/php/5.6/bin/pecl install crypto-0.2.2 which seemed to work well:

Build process completed successfully
Installing '/opt/plesk/php/5.6/lib/php/modules/crypto.so'
install ok: channel://pecl.php.net/crypto-0.2.2
configuration option "php_ini" is not set to php.ini location
You should add "extension=crypto.so" to php.ini

But when I go to plesk panel, the crypto extension does not show up in the list of modules that can be activated.

I tried rebooting and creating /opt/plesk/php/5.6/php.d/crypto.ini with no luck

Thanks in advance
Dave
