• Debian 11 is approaching its end-of-life (vendor EOL date - August 31, 2026). Plesk Obsidian 18.0.80 will be the last release to support it.
If you are running Plesk Obsidian on Debian 11, we recommend you upgrade those servers to Debian 12 using our dist-upgrade tool.
  • We plan to deprecate and remove the support for XML RPC protocol versions earlier than 1.6.9.1 in Plesk Obsidian 18.0.82. We strongly recommend that you update all existing integrations using earlier versions of the XML RPC protocol to comply with the version 1.6.9.1 specification.

Hi,

I guess you are getting this error message trying to run upgrade from Plesk CP > Server > Updater.

To get detailed error message that makes the issue clear it is better to run Plesk upgrade with help of autoinstaller.

Download the latest version of Plesk autoinstaller compatible with operation system running on the server from the page below:

http://www.parallels.com/download/plesk9/

To obtain it you will need to register on the site www.parallels.com > My account if you did not has an account yet.

Then simply follow instructions provided in release note to run upgrade:
http://download1.parallels.com/Plesk/PPP9/plesk-9.0.0-for-rpm-based-os.html

Autoinstaller writes quite detailed log to /tmp/autoinstaller3.log where exact error message could be found.
Also, you can submit a ticket to plesk support team for help with this issue as usually upgrade issues are quite complecated.
Good luck!
