Resolved Error: Unable to receive update information for the package(s)

Lrnt

Basic Pleskian
Hi !

Today, I have got an error when trying to update packages from Plesk UI
There is the error: "Erreur : impossible de recevoir les informations de mise à jour pour le ou les packs"

That can be translated by "Error: It is not possible to receive updated information for packages" or "Error: Unable to receive update information for the package(s)".

I never had this error before.
Can someone help me?

Plesk Obsidian Version 18.0.30 / Debian 9.13

Thank you !
Lrnt

I do:

Code:
plesk installer update
plesk repair all -y

No change.

Then I tried:

Code:
apt-get clean
apt update
apt upgrade

No change.

@Lrnt This morning, we noticed there was a grafana package error, which caused a similar update error, but which should (in theory) get corrected by them pretty soon. We removed that package from the updates and upgraded everything else without any problems. We'll re-try tomorrow when the grafana package error should have been solved. It runs fine, meantime anyway. You can have a closer look at which specific package might be causing the issue, either within Plesk UI where your were before, or even better via CLI where you are now. The post by @IgorG will probably be of more use to you, but still worth checking

Edit: Here's the grafana error:
Update failed.

Thank you @learning_curve
First, I tried to update each pack one by one but i was unabled to do it (same error for each package).

BUT !
Now, since the error from grafana package has been removed, packages update went fine. :D

Hi,

I'm quite new to the forum. But looking for a similar problem I found this post. I have similar problems. To update the server to Obsidian 18.0.31. Server is giving the error: Unable to receive update information for the package(s). I don't see a grafana update. Problem is also accuring to all other updates and connections to other ports than the 80 port. Anyone has a idea?

Try /var/log/plesk/install/autoinstaller3.log
Hi there, I have the same problem "Error: Unable to receive update information for the package(s)" and the link that was provided as a solution does not exist anymore.
So I can't understand what "/var/log/plesk/install/autoinstaller3.log" is referring to
Can someone clarify?

I have the same issue. I unistalled the grafana extension but still unable to receive updates.
What I have to do to resolve?

I have no file "/etc/yum.repos.d/MariaDB.repo"

Im on Ubuntu 22.04.1 LTS
Plesk Obsidian
Version 18.0.46

Have a look at /var/log/plesk/install/autoinstaller3.log to find out what the issue is.

Loag attached, I don't understand where the error is from this.
Do you see something related?

Grafana is not working, I cannot use monitor.
Maybe the issue is caused by Grafana but I unistalled the extension from extensions but still not able to do system updates.
