Error validating license when accessing external services

Jesse_Fitzgerald

New Pleskian
Greetings. My name is Jesse and I'm new to the forum.

I'm not sure if it's a technical or a license issue. When I try to retrieve external services, such as purchase an ssl certificate or buy an application; I see the the following error: "Error: Error validating license."

For example: If I click on 'Tools and Settings' > 'External Services' > 'View Services' , the browser redirects to https://shop.marketplace.parallels.com/index.php?act=marketplace_dispatch (as it should) and then gives me the license error. I have re-retrieved my license key, and even downloaded and reinstalled it from the Parallels Partner Channel and the problem persists. When I check the license key status from the Panel it says, "Key Update Status: License key PLSK.02557481.0016 is up-to-date." Everything else is working fine.

I am running Plesk version 12.0.18 Update #37 on Centos 6.6

Thanks in advance for any feedback.

Yes, it is license related issue and may be caused by fact that your Plesk license was purchased from one of Parallels partner. As they are our partner their licenses are stored in a separate database hence when you enter the license on our website you get the Error : "Error Validating License". You would not be able to purchase external services directly from Parallels.
So, I suggest you contact your sales representative regarding this issue.

Hi Igor. Thanks for the quick response. I agree that the issue is probably license related. The license did not come from a parallels partner, but directly from Parallels. I have reached out to my sales rep as you have suggested.

I'm actually setup as a Parallels partner. If I don't hear back from my sales rep by the end of the week, I may just purchase a license directly from the regular Parallels website, install it; and see what happens. Something tells me that will fix the issue. I'll let you know what happens. If you figure it out before me, let me know.

Ok. It's working now, spontaneously. I don't know if the sales rep fixed it or not, so I cant say what changed.
