the thing is to have a look at the version you've downloaded

/usr/local/psa/bootstrapper/pp10.9.0-bootstrapper/bootstrapper.sh repair

some uses the pp10.8.0 - so they have to change the command...

/usr/local/psa/bootstrapper/pp10.9.0-bootstrapper/bootstrapper.sh repair
and now it works fine... thank you for all the good advises!

I have exactly this problem. when I search it, I find this post. so I changed chmod and after that I have login page. with login I had the same errors. So when I reed a post to wait for complete auto installer, I wasn't sure. so I tried this one:

[root@uitn ~]# /usr/local/psa/admin/bin/autoinstaller

and it show me:

BUSY: Update operation was locked by another update process.

Also when I check my hosted sites, It show me default page of Plesk! But when I get busy alert, I waited and after about one hour everything is ok. So I think you've to wait and be patient.

emergeny help! SMB database not created!!!

I try to upgrade other server and I get some other errors:

Internal error: SQLSTATE[42S02]: Base table or view not found: 1146 Table 'psa.smb_productUpgrades' doesn't exist
....
...


So I try this one:

/usr/local/psa/bootstrapper/pp10.9.0-bootstrapper/bootstrapper.sh repair

but in repair process I get this error:

ERROR while trying to SMB database not created
Check the error reason(see log file: /tmp/pp10.9.0-bootstrapper.101115.22.08.log), fix and try again

===> Restoring database from backup /var/lib/psa/dumps/mysql.preupgrade.dump.gz

**** Product repair failed.


I couldn't solve it, yet. please help me, ASAP.

PSA Admin password with symbols like "+"

I have just solved this issue.
In my case, the problem was that the admin password had a "+". So, when the plesk update script used the password, some kind of error happened.

For solvering, just 2 lines:

# /usr/local/psa/bin/init_conf -p -passwd newpasswd
---------------------- (a newpassword without "+"!!!! Only numbers or letters)

/usr/local/psa/bootstrapper/pp10.8.0-bootstrapper/bootstrapper.sh repair
or
/usr/local/psa/bootstrapper/pp10.9.0-bootstrapper/bootstrapper.sh repair
---------------------- (8 or 9, depens of your version. Check which exists in your system)

That's it!

I hope this would be useful for someone.

thank you for your answer. But no, before I try to install it I checked admin password. It's empty.

After this issue I decide to remove Plesk and try to install a fresh one. But, I have another problem now. When I install version 10 with autoinstaller I get this error:

Starting installation of packages
sh: /usr/local/psa/bootstrapper/pp10.9.0-bootstrapper/bootstrapper.sh: No such file or directory

ERROR: An error occurred during performing of installation PREP actions (see log for details). Installation was rolled back.
Warning! Not all packages were installed.
Please check if your system services are operable.
Please resolve this issue and try installing the packages again.
If you cannot resolve the issue on your own, contact product technical support for assistance.

So I try to install version 9.5.3. It's ok but at the end of installation, I get some errors again. My new error is that there isn't log files in the /var/log/ !

I think I have just one solution and it's reinstall OS.

I got the same errors as indicated after I updated plesk.


/usr/local/psa/bootstrapper/pp10.9.0-bootstrapper/bootstrapper.sh repair
