In such cases most probably following parameters should be updated with 'sb_config':

--db_admin_passwd, --db_admin_name

Sitebuilder can not connect to database to make appropriate changes. From your next posts I understand that this situation already resolved, isn't it? Please let me know if further assistance required here.

Hi Dmitry, I did open a ticket and suppot solved it.

But I would like to understand what happened, why did that Access denied occur during the upgrade?

Regards,

Well, I can not say exactly reason but it could happen when MySQL root password was updated or something else. If you could give me ticket number, probably I could get more information for you.
