  • We are developing a new feature in Plesk that will help you promote your websites or business on social media. We want to conduct a one-hour online UX test to present the prototype and collect feedback. If you are interested in the feature, please book a meeting via this link.
    Thank you in advance!
  • The Horde webmail has been deprecated. Its complete removal is scheduled for April 2025. For details and recommended actions, see the Feature and Deprecation Plan.
  • We’re working on enhancing the Monitoring feature in Plesk, and we could really use your expertise! If you’re open to sharing your experiences with server and website monitoring or providing feedback, we’d love to have a one-hour online meeting with you.

Issue EXTREMELY frustrating, emails keep being kicked back, DKIM, DMARC, and SPF setup

You still think this is a certificate issue?
Clients will refuse to connect to imaps or pop3s when the certificate does not match or doesn't even exist, and you shouldn't ever connect without SSL because your password WILL be stolen that way.

What mow said, most modern clients will refuse to connect when there's no SSL configured

Hey There

we did discover that the "iphone issue" SEEMS to be related to a password length, you would think in this "oversecure world" that they would actually encourage stronger ones, but indeed whether its plesk or the client itself, anything longer then say 12-14 characters breaks in the input cycle. Once we reduced the complexity of the passwords the server added immediately without issues.

As for securing with SSL I am unsure how to do this as there is already a certificate (on the hosted website) securing the domain, and if we put one on the mail, wont they conflict

I guess I need a bit more guidance, thanks everyone

Ok I just put the certificate back on whynotgus.agency, however when I did all email failed sending from the phone, and the phone showed a "certificate untrusted" , once we removed the cert it sent everything through, standing by for more ideas!

I think this post has been abandoned, just a heads up we did end up getting all email to work, but it cannot be secured as long as two certificates exist on the domain, so we left SSL off.

I am back again

We added the domain

doverleads.info

it has the following setup

  • proper DKIM, DMARC, and SPF records in the Plesk server
  • The same at Namecheap (Where the registar is)
  • An email setup under the domain
yet for all intents and purposes EVERY verification we send says ITS NOT setup right, I am so curious how this can be, screenshot attached!

I am not sure whether large red letters improve the content quality of the question. Maybe other users will be more inclined to respond if you could write a simple, clear question what you would like to know.

I think i was more then clear on the issues, and provided ample evidence of what was happening, it is also possible that I just exhausted the level of knowledge available on this server. Writing in red was for attention, which it got from someone who clearly doesn't know the answer to my question!

Check your DNS settings because everything I'm checking doesn't exist.
See that’s the thing, it’s all in there! I am so confused!

NameCheap has 2 different DNS services (well... 3), if you're using their FreeDNS service, you will need to update your name servers to point to their FreeDNS service. If you're confused please reach out to your registrar for assistance.

Nothing to reach out about if you just pay attention for a moment or two in Namecheap's Dashboard.

When you click on Manage for your domain, you'll see four items in the nav. bar for settings.

The first, Domain, has a drop-down menu under Nameservers. Just look 'em over.

There are 2 basic DNS available on namecheap but you can add more by clicking on "Add" button. When you update your nameservers just wait for the update because it will take up to 48 hours. I recently updated my nameservers it worked.
