• Debian 11 is approaching its end-of-life (vendor EOL date - August 31, 2026). Plesk Obsidian 18.0.80 will be the last release to support it.
If you are running Plesk Obsidian on Debian 11, we recommend you upgrade those servers to Debian 12 using our dist-upgrade tool.
  • We plan to deprecate and remove the support for XML RPC protocol versions earlier than 1.6.9.1 in Plesk Obsidian 18.0.82. We strongly recommend that you update all existing integrations using earlier versions of the XML RPC protocol to comply with the version 1.6.9.1 specification.

I have windows server 2003 and the latest plesk version. I try to open Plesk in the web browser and get the following error message:

Fatal error: Run-Time error: Can't decrypt password in C:\Program Files\SWsoft\Plesk\admin\plib\common_func.php3 on line 217

Any ideas?

I now have this problem while reinstalling Plesk 7.5.6 for windows.

Error "Can't decrypt password" with options to Abort, Continue or Ignire, and no other information.

What does it mean, how do I fix it?

I've tried runing all the options in Plesk Reconfigurator, adding in the latest patch, running repair install, etc.

Sorry, it has been so long ago I can't recall what we did to fix it. But it did get fixed somehow.
