• Debian 11 is approaching its end-of-life (vendor EOL date - August 31, 2026). Plesk Obsidian 18.0.80 will be the last release to support it.
If you are running Plesk Obsidian on Debian 11, we recommend you upgrade those servers to Debian 12 using our dist-upgrade tool.
  • We plan to deprecate and remove the support for XML RPC protocol versions earlier than 1.6.9.1 in Plesk Obsidian 18.0.82. We strongly recommend that you update all existing integrations using earlier versions of the XML RPC protocol to comply with the version 1.6.9.1 specification.

Feature Request: When Enabling Redirect on Mailbox, Present Option to Clear Mailbox

eugenevdm

Regular Pleskian
On our system, every time our clients enable a redirect on their mailboxes, we get a support call.

Not immediately, but within about a month or two.

Reason: We have limits on how large mailboxes can be. Clients enable re-directs but don't realise mailboxes needs to be removed.

At least Plesk should warn our clients about this and present options that asks:

(1) Do you want to disable the mailbox for this user?, and
(2) Do you want to clear the old mailbox for the user?

Without clearing the mailbox the client will still get disk space warnings, and even worse, rejected e-mail because the mailbox could get full!

Please assist by providing a better warning and / or additional options whenever a redirect is enable on a mailbox.

what about the ability to set the length of time email is kept on the server?
