• Our team is looking to connect with folks who use email services provided by Plesk, or a premium service. If you'd like to be part of the discovery process and share your experiences, we invite you to complete this short screening survey. If your responses match the persona we are looking for, you'll receive a link to schedule a call at your convenience. We look forward to hearing from you!
  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
    If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

File Manager

New Pleskian
What do I need to do with this error in File Manager? The version is 9.5.2 Plesk Windows. This only happened to 1 specific domain.

FileList::init() failed: Invalid file name.

This issue with File Manager is caused by dynamic MySQL 4.1 client library (libmysql.dll) which does not work properly on system (w2k8x64). This behaviour has been fixed in Plesk starting from version 10.3.
But as possible workaround for this issue, use MSSQL server as Plesk database server. You can use reconfigurator for switching.
So as a solution I suggest Switch Database provider from Mysql to MSSQL, or upgrade Plesk Panel to version 11, as it is latest stable version at the moment.

Thank you very much for your kind answer. The problem has just gone by itself without no one fixing. Not sure what caused that but we will keep your advice handy. Thanks again.
