Resolved First install keep saying no enough disk space

Hi,

I'm trying to install Plesk Onyx 17.0.17 on my Ubuntu 16.04 64 bits LTS (HVM) server at Gandi.net. I have 1 core, 512 RAM and 10go disk space to test it.
When i install it via ssh, it says :
1 - Which version - i choose 17.0.17
2 - Which type - i choose Recommended or Full
3 - After this it keep saying not enough disk space, here is the full error :

Launching component and product checkers...
Downloading file PSA_17.0.17/examiners/disk_space_check.sh: 100% was finished.
Components and product validation detected at least one important issue:
Available disk space check
There is not enough disk space available in the / directory.
You need to free up 1.1 GB.

When i use 'ls' to list my directory's it keep saying : "10-help-text.disabled init.disabled parallels plesk-installer"

Can anyone help me ?

Minimum system requirements for Onyx:
1 GB RAM total (512 MB RAM + 512 MB Swap space is sufficient). Your system: 512 MB RAM. :-(
10 GB free disk space in root / partition. Your system: 10 GB disk space total of which 1.1 GB are already used. :-(
3 GB free disk space in /tmp partition. Your system: ? :-(

I am afraid, that your server is too small to install Onyx.

Hi Peter,
Thank you for your response. I've changed the values as you said as followed :
- 1GB ram
- 15 GB disk space
- I don't know how much i have in the /tmp partition, i've done df -h and it says :

But it says tmpfs and not just tmp ?

It is possible that /tmp is not mounted as a partition. Maybe you have a /tmp directory under / or /var/tmp or elsewhere. This is possible, but it is discouraged, because in that case you cannot set the "noexec" attribute and users will be able to execute scripts from the /tmp directory. Your new configuration is sufficient to allow the installation of Onyx, even if /tmp is not mounted as a partition.

Thanks for your response, i've retried the installation with the new configuration and the disk space problem has disappeared But now it get stuck at :

Yes, this is related to the operating system installation of your server.

Please read https://docs.plesk.com/release-notes/onyx/software-requirements/ to find out, what the requirements for the installation are. If you meet the requirements, I suggest to start with a minimal OS image and install Plesk on that image.
