ftp access on subdomain

hello there,

we have a plesk 10.1.1 linux panel.
now we created on the control panel of a domain, a sub domain.
Everything is fine, but we did not get an ftp access to the folder of the sub domain.
we always get the whole directory listed in the ftp program.
Can anyone tell me how we have to configure this, to realize that the customer only sees the sub domains folder on his ftp user account?

regards, markus

You can use additional FTP accounts to restrict directory access - go to "FTP access" menu (pic. 1), create additional FTP account (pic. 2) and set subdomain root as home directory (pic. 3).

hi EugeneL,

thanks for your reply, well that exactly what we've already done.
But after that, when we conntect with the created account
(subdomainname.domain.com) and user is pointing to the folder /subdomain/subdomainname
the we get the hole tree with all folders on the server, and all are acessable too.

regards

It is still not clear for me what is wrong.
Could you please take a screenshot of what customer sees now and cross out items which customer is not supposed to see. This will help me to understand your needs and I'll try to find the best solution for you.
