• Debian 11 is approaching its end-of-life (vendor EOL date - August 31, 2026). Plesk Obsidian 18.0.80 will be the last release to support it.
If you are running Plesk Obsidian on Debian 11, we recommend you upgrade those servers to Debian 12 using our dist-upgrade tool.
  • We plan to deprecate and remove the support for XML RPC protocol versions earlier than 1.6.9.1 in Plesk Obsidian 18.0.82. We strongly recommend that you update all existing integrations using earlier versions of the XML RPC protocol to comply with the version 1.6.9.1 specification.

Using Plesk 7.5, can you set up multiple FTP accounts for one client? If so, how?

Thanks.

Wow I thought I replied to this last week.

[Edit: Ahh, I did. I see you had 2 same posts in different areas...]

From the control panel, no you cannot.

You could implement Web Users, but they would not have access to the same folders, but only to their own domain.com/~webusername folder

There are other workarounds involving the Shell command prompt and creating users manually. Other workaround would be to use something like Webmin to create/manage the extra ftp users. It will allow you to create them, passwords, directory default, etc. Just don't mess with the users/groups which Plesk created/manages.... (I am not recommending nor condone this way, simply list it as a possible solution to a problem.) I am not responsible for any breakage of your server if you use Webmin in this manner, nor if you decide to do it manually. :p
