• The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

FTP backup does C: drive only

Ed_itor

New Pleskian
I have my ftp settings set for a directory on the second drive on our webserver, the "W:" drive.
The settings take. The view of my FTP Repository shows the correct W: drive directory and its contents.
But every time I run a backup, it does not drop the files on W: to the designated path; it drops them on C:! It even creates the non-existent directory path on C: in the default FTP directory location.

Is this a limitation of the software? It seems odd since it SEES the correct path for viewing the FTP repository, but yet, when backing up, sends the files elsewhere.

Am thinking the files you see on C are temporary backup files, so basically it fails to write to W: Make sure it has sufficient permissions, storage and access rights.
