  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

I'm using plesk 6.5 for windows and I'm having trouble with the ftp setup.

I add a client, then add a domain, then setup the domain user and go to configure the ftp. I setup an ftp username and pw.

when I go to ftp login, it logs me in, but can't list any directories or do anything. I'm not using any firewalls or port blockers or anything of that nature between the ftp box and the web host. Is this a bug or am I missing something else I need to setup?

thanks

You don't configure the FTP username and password for a domain in plesk 6.5 for windows. Whatever the primary owner of the domain is (The Client) that login is the login for the FTP for the Domain. The Domain Users is for people utilizing domain.com/~username. This wouldn't list directories because it is a subdirectory of the domain.

I hope this helps.
