  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Input Full Scheduled Backup - add 2 weeks (fortnight) option

Basic Pleskian
We need a "Fortnightly" option (2 weeks) added to the "Perform full backup" scheduling settings.

This would provide the best balance between use of space for backups, the amount of backup snapshots, and the upload bandwidth used (as we store backups also on remote cloud storage - Google Drive).

With the current options, "Weekly" is too frequent - we'll be pushing ~800GB to Google Drive each week and using up too much upload bandwidth, while "Monthly" is too infrequent and there are too many incremental snapshots being created (which means in the case of disaster recovery, the latest full server backup that we have could be up to 1 month old which is too long ago).

2 weeks is a good balance between the two.
